RAPID CITY, S.D. – Asphalt paving is complete from Rockwood Road to the easternmost Spring Creek Bridge. Striping and guardrail will be installed this week. Topsoil placement, gravel placement at approaches, and general cleanup continues throughout the work area as well.
An asphalt overlay will be placed from the westernmost Spring Creek Bridge to the easternmost Spring Creek Bridge beginning Monday, Aug. 15, 2022.
The speed limit is 35 mph from Victoria Lake Road to the easternmost Spring Creek Bridge. Motorists are asked to be aware of suddenly slowing and merging traffic, changing work zone locations, reduced speeds through the work zone, and construction workers and equipment adjacent to the driving lanes.
