RAPID CITY, S.D. – March 7, 2022 – Surfacing removal will continue near Burgess Road moving east. Trucks will be hauling to the storage yard near Victoria Gulch BR 1A. (Forest Service Road). Blasting is anticipated to take place next week approximately 1000’ east of the easternmost Spring Creek Bridge.

No Dumping is allowed on any of the slash piles within the project area.
During inclement weather, blading and road surface maintenance will be completed, but road conditions may be slippery and muddy.
The speed limit is 35 MPH from Victoria Lake Road to the easternmost Spring Creek Bridge. Motorists are asked to be aware of suddenly slowing and merging traffic, changing work zone locations, reduced speeds through the work zone, and construction workers and equipment adjacent to the driving lanes.
