RAPID CITY, S.D. – October 11, 2021 – Traffic is on the new alignment from Highway 385 to North Beach Road. Asphalt paving will continue as weather permits from Dakota Point Road to the western most Spring Creek Bridge.
Topsoil placement and approach work continues from Old Sheridan Road to Rockwood Lane.
Striping will take place from Norseman Lane to Victoria Lake Road well.
Reminder: Sheridan Lake Road is closed from Taylor Ranch Road to Highway 385.
The speed limit is 35 mph from Norseman Lane to Rockwood Road. Thru traffic from Rapid City to Highway 385 must use an alternate route. Motorists are asked to be aware of suddenly slowing and merging traffic, changing work zone locations, reduced speeds through the work zone, and construction workers and equipment adjacent to the driving lanes.
