RAPID CITY, S.D. – Beginning Monday, March 1, 2021, Oftedal Construction will resume work on the Sheridan Lake Road reconstruction project from Norseman Lane to Highway 385.
Sheridan Lake Road will be fully closed from Spring Creek Trailhead Road to Highway 385 and is anticipated to re-open on Nov. 19, 2021. Thru traffic from Rapid City to Highway 385 must use an alternate route.
Access for local traffic will be maintained on Sheridan Lake Road from Norseman Lane to Spring Creek Trailhead Road.
Access to the Sheridan Lake Marina will be maintained from Highway 385.
Motorists are asked to be aware of suddenly slowing and merging traffic, changing work zone locations, reduced speeds through the work zone, and construction workers and equipment adjacent to the driving lanes.
